I could not agree more with this assessment. I understand that TiVo is looking at any and all ways to get its name out there and court potential consumer users and potential corporate acquirers, but I need some convincing before I can take a partnership between TiVo and Yahoo or Google seriously.
Caveat: the title of this blog isn't "The Discriminating Omniscience". I've been surprised more than once by how these things turn out.
